Your Rights and Protections Against Surprise Billing
Last updated: December 2025
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) explaining how much your medical or mental health care may cost. This estimate applies to clients who do not use insurance, are uninsured, or choose self-pay for services.
A Good Faith Estimate outlines the expected charges for services you may receive at WhatIf Therapy. It is not a bill. The final cost of services may vary depending on your individual treatment needs and preferences.
Treatment for OCD and anxiety can vary. Most clients receive weekly sessions for 8–16 weeks, though some prefer more or fewer sessions depending on goals, progress, and clinical need.
Example Estimates:
Your actual estimate will be tailored to your treatment plan and provided in writing before your first session.
Your Good Faith Estimate may include:
It does not include services you choose to obtain outside of WhatIf Therapy (e.g., lab tests, medications).
